The turnout for the opening night of the festival was fantastic. We had almost a packed cinema. We started out with a wonderful performance of dancers traditional clothes. Our dancers graced the wonderful venue as they put on an intriguing and colorful display, not only for those at the festival, but also for passerbys.
We also had a wonderful table of Middle Eastern food for our audience to enjoy.
Our audience enjoyed also a gift bag, filled with wonderful cotton candy and other goodies that they could take home.
Finally, the film I am Nasrine was screened. Audience surveys revealed that almost seventy percent of our audience gave the film 4/4 stars.
